Synopsis
Well what can you say about this book, it covers an amazing number of topics, issues, concerns, sound bites and thoughts. Peter has brought together a very interesting book and provides so many references that you will find your self dizzying at the urge to nip off and look up the references.
Persist and get through and run through again using the bottom of the pages where generally all the links and references are listed for easy access.
Anyone who has considered the issues of how we interact with information through the myriad of interfaces, devices, environments via push and pull approaches will appreciate the point that you have to find it first. The book also provides some thoughts on the affects of the quantity and quality of information available today.
This is a good read for information architects and all involved in the proliferation of information.
Review Summary
Don’t expect an easy read as the book does a very good of covering many connected aspects in so few pages. Be prepared to feel that you need to browse as you read to access more information relating to all the references.
Another good title from Peter Morville.
